The Savile Row Company was founded in 1938 by the late Mr. Doltis. Based in the heart of London they initially manufactured and provided quality clothes to well known, high street stores; it wasn't until later that they concentrated their efforts and attention on selling direct to the public.

In 1946, only a year after the War ended, they restarted their trading activities and rapidly became one of the leading employers in the fashion industry throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s. It was during this period of expansion that The Savile Row Company branched out and began to manufacture men's clothes in Northern Ireland. Following a similar growth pattern, they very quickly established ourselves as a principal supplier in the men's wear market producing garments for multiple stores and leading independent retailers with their unique brand.

At the height of their manufacturing success, they produced clothing for some of the most well known men's wear retailers not only supplying large chain stores throughout the country but also those individual firms established and operating solely on Savile Row.
