Icons is a great website for football players information, pictures, etc.
On the homepage there is the latest team news, Top 10 Icons, players site (listed A-Z)
There are loads of players to choose from, including Alan Smith, Robbie Fowler, Ryan Giggs, Jaap Stam & Dennis Bergkamp. Also there are quite alot of foreign players to choose from, including Patrick Kluivert & Frank De Boer, (although some players the text isn't available in English).
When you visit a players' site, it will ask you to register with Icons.com (this is free), it doesn't take long to complete.
When you have registered, you can enter competitions and also buy merchandise.
On the players' sites, there is their homepage, which welcomes you. Listed on the left side is different catagories:
Their diary.
Their autobiograpghy, which tells you about their career.
Milestones, this tells you what's happened to them.
Teammates, this is what the player thinks of his teammates.
Gallery, pictures of the player (club, country and personal).
Contact Me, you can ask questions to the player.
On some players there is a catagory called 'My Merchandise', this is where you can buy signed shirts, signed photos and t-shirts.
I have actually bought 2 signed photos from this site, 1 of Eirik Bakke and 1 of Alan Smith.
