The London Wine Academy offers wine courses and wine tastings for everyone from the absolute beginner learning purely for pleasure, to those with a more serious perhaps career-based interest.

Wine Courses

Learn the art of wine tasting at the London Wine Academy. Do you simply drink wine or do you taste wine? Their wine tasting courses will teach you the professional's tasting technique and how smell, taste and appearance of a wine are integral to its enjoyment. If you're confused by the jargon on labels or intimidated by wine lists in restaurants, then let the London Wine Academy demystify the world of wine.

They have a range of 6 week and one day courses for the beginner or the intermediate, as well as a one day food and wine matching course.

They promote a friendly, enjoyable and relaxed environment in which to learn about wine and our aim is to present in a non-intimidating, easy-to absorb way. Our courses and events are structured for everyone to be able to ask all the wine questions they want.

Their team of tutors/lecturers are all wine industry experts and very knowledgeable about wine. The internationally recognised Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma is the minimum trade qualification required. However, most of their tutors are studying for the prestigious Master of Wine qualification or have already passed.
